For more than 75 years, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana has been committed to the health of all Louisianians.
In addition to the exclusive wellness programs we offer our members, Blue Cross also supports health and wellness programs for all Louisianians.
Smart Bodies is a statewide educational program to help combat childhood obesity. Developed with the AgCenter at Louisiana State University, the three-part program teaches kids age kindergarten through 5th grade about nutrition and physical activity.
The Louisiana 2 Step is a health and wellness program that's available at no cost. The program fights obesity by encouraging everyone to "Do the 2," or take two small daily steps to better health by eating right and moving more. Get healthy recipes, fitness tips, healthcare news, a local events calendar and your own virtual coach to cheer you on. Track your weight, activity, health stats and more to help achieve your personal goals.Go »
The 2 Step 4 Kids program is a fun and age-appropriate website that uses games and graphics to teach and reward healthy behavior in children ages 5 through 12. Resources for teachers and parents are also available.
We are actively involved in Louisiana communities. We support more than 200 charitable organizations statewide through our Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana Foundation.Go »
