How to Request Funding

Qualified organizations can request funds through:

Corporate Sponsorships

• Sponsorships usually offer Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana opportunities, such as advertising and event tickets, to promote and enhance our brands and/or increase business. These benefits are not required.
• Sponsorships are used most often to conduct fundraising events. For example:
• Luncheons
• Walks/races
• Conferences that help raise awareness of an organization's programs
• Fill out and print our Sponsorship Request Form

Impact Grants

• Grants are philanthrophic in nature and are given with no benefits to Blue Cross.
• Grants are used to support an organization's programs. For example:
• Cancer screenings
• Awareness campaigns
• After-school activities for kids
• Grant Application
• Impact Grant Summary Form
• Help for Preparing Your Proposal
• Grant Narrative Template (Microsoft Word document in zip format)

Submitting Requests

Applications are reviewed each quarter. Applications must be mailed or hand-delivered to our corporate headquarters for receipt by 4:30 p.m. on the following deadlines:

If the application deadline falls on a weekend, the application is due by close of business the Monday immediately following the deadline.

All requests for charitable contributions or sponsorships must be submitted on our official application and submitted to:
