Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana recently appointed Stephen Brunet manager of Documentation and Metrics in the company’s Business Engineering Unit and Michelle Salim IT Change Manager. It also promoted Thea Christy to manager of Corporate and eCommunications Services in Corporate Communications.
Stephen Brunet comes to his new position with broad experience in business communications for several healthcare companies, as well as 25 years of IT technical writing experience. Brunet will manage the team that develops, maintains and organizes all systems configuration documentation and departmental metrics for Blue Cross. He is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
Thea Christy will direct and coordinate the operational activities of the Corporate Communications Department, including developing and revising standard operational and working practices to ensure customer satisfaction. Her duties include fostering and maintaining communication for an overall efficient flow of work with the objective of promoting a high-quality image that will enhances sales and retention.
Christy received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond. She has more than 28 years of experience with Blue Cross.
Michelle Salim will spearhead the new IT Change Management program the company will implement in October. Salim brings to the job more than 25 years of experience in information technology services and support for the healthcare and financial industries with more than five years of specific background in change management. She received her degree in computer science from LSU.
