Roberto Cortés-Moreno Named Senior Attorney at Blue Cross

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana has named Roberto Cortés-Moreno as a senior attorney in its Legal Department.

Cortés-Moreno previously served as attorney for Triple-S Salud (Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Puerto Rico). In his new role at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana, Cortés-Moreno will provide legal services to all areas of the company.

Cortés-Moreno received his Juris Doctorate from Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico in Ponce, Puerto Rico. In addition, he received a Master of Laws degree from the University of Houston in Houston, Texas. Cortés-Moreno also holds certifications as a Health Insurance Associate, HIPAA Professional and Managed Healthcare Professional from America’s Health Insurance Plans.
