Thank you for choosing Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana!

If you signed up for our health insurance coverage at healthcare.gov and still need to make your initial payment, please follow the steps below.

Instructions

You can pay by credit card, bank draft, check or money order by using our online payment system. Here's how:

Log in to healthcare.gov.

Click on your application.

Click "Pay for Health (or Dental) Plan."

Please call Customer Service at 1-800-392-4087 if you have any questions.

If you are having problems making your payment online, you can send your first payment by mail with a check or money order.

Get the amount of your first payment. To do this:

  • Minimize this tab or window.
  • Go back to your healthcare.gov online application.
  • The amount can be found on the screen where you clicked "Pay for Health (or Dental) Plan".

Get your application ID number. To do this:

  • Click "My Account" in the green box at the top of that same screen. Show Me
  • Your ID number can be found on the "Application details" screen.

To submit your first payment, please mail a check or money order to the following address:

Please make checks payable to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana.

If you are sending a check or money order for multiple plans (medical and dental), please include each plan's payment amount in the memo portion.

Please include your application ID number on your check.
