• Create a Personal Health Record for you and your family. This secure, password-protected online record is available 24/7, wherever you are. Best of all, your Personal Health Record is yours to keep, even if you change health insurance carrier  
• Register for AccessBlue, our free online member service where you can create a Personal Health Record, view and print your claims-based health history, review claims status and update personal information. Register and login from the AccessBlue box found on the upper right of every BCBSLA.com webpage
• Keep several days’ worth of your prescription medications on hand
• Write down group insurance contact information
• Complete an authorized delegate form for all covered family members age 18 or older
• Complete the Be Safe. Be Prepared. card and carry it in your wallet or file it with important health documents
• Bookmark this webpage for ready reference.

After the Storm

• Remember to return to this webpage for the latest information, or call the Customer Service number on the back of your ID card.
• Share your temporary address with Blue Cross if you will be away from home for an extended time. You can change your address using AccessBlue.
• If evacuated, visit HealthcareFacts.org to learn more about hospitals in Louisiana.
• Make sure you include your policy number or contract number with your premium payment. Most individual customers can now pay their BCBSLA or HMO Louisiana bill online through AccessBlue. Learn more about payment options for customers and employers
