Individual members can pay their bills through one of the payment options below. It is important to use your current member number when paying your payment notice. You can find your member number on your current ID card. If you have any questions, please call the number on the back of your ID card.

Payment Options 

  • Online
  • Bank Draft
    NOTE: Your account cannot have any amount currently due in order for a bank draft to be set up. If your policy has a balance due, please select another payment option to bring your balance to zero before submitting the bank draft form.
  • Telephone
  • Mail
  • In Person

Online:

  • To pay your bill online through our account management system, you must register for AccessBLUE. (Certain restrictions apply.)


  • You can also pay online using your bank's online bill pay system. 
    - Be sure to include your current contract number in the account field stored under payee Blue Cross.
    - Set up a different payee for each member number being paid, including the correct member number for each.

To avoid a delay in processing your payment, make sure your payment matches the payment notice exactly.

Bank Draft:

Blue Cross and HMO Louisiana, Inc., can set you up for automatic monthly bank drafts. Complete the appropriate form below, based on your coverage. Please allow 30 days to process your account set-up. NOTE: Your account cannot have any amount currently due for a bank draft to be set up. If your policy has a balance due, please select another payment option to bring your balance to zero before submiting the bank draft form.

You can pay your premium by telephone using your credit card during regular business hours (certain restrictions apply). Call Customer Service at 1.800.495.BLUE (2583) to pay your bill or get more information regarding premium payment.

Be sure to include your payment notice and write your member number with the month you are paying on your check, money order or cashier’s check. To avoid a delay in processing your payment, make sure your payment matches the payment notice exactly. Allow 10 days for your payment to reach us via postal service. Mail to:

In Person at District Offices or Main Office:
You can pay in person by check, money order or cashier’s check at any district office on routine business days, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; or our Baton Rouge corporate headquarters, 5525 Reitz Ave., Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Please note payments made at our district offices require longer processing time. To avoid a delay in processing your payment, make sure your payment matches the payment notice exactly.
