Staying current with preventive recommendations is an important part of your overall wellness.
Our preventive medicine guidelines identify preventive services for customers based on age, gender and risk level. The guidelines outline screening tests for early disease detection, immunizations to prevent infections or disease, counseling to reduce risks and recommendations on prenatal care. The guidelines, based on industry standards, are reviewed and established by the Blue Cross Medical Quality Management Committee, which includes network physicians.
