Plan Outline
The 2008 RxBLUE plan is outlined in the chart below.

RxBLUE has a tiered payment structure. That means, during your initial coverage, you might pay a low, fixed amount (copayment) or a coinsurance percentage for each drug, depending on the drug type (tier). All brand-name drugs are subject to a $200 deductible before copayment and coinsurance amounts are applicable.
Until your total drug costs reach $2,510, you will pay the amounts below, and RxBLUE will cover the difference. These amounts will be paid for brand-name drugs after the $200 deductible is met.

Member Coinsurance for Specialty Drugs |
After your total drug costs (the combined amount both you and RxBLUE pay) reach $2,510, you will pay 100% of your drug costs. Please always continue to use your member ID card to receive the benefit of our discounted rates.
When you reach $4,050 out-of-pocket, you qualify for catastrophic coverage, meaning you pay the greater of 5% coinsurance or $2.25 for generics and $5.60 for all other drugs.
Premium Information
The RxBLUE premium for 2008 is $36.30 per month. Lower premiums and coinsurance payments are available for those who have qualified for additional assistance. Find out more about qualifying for additional assistance.
You must continue to pay your Medicare Part B premium if it is not otherwise paid for under Medicaid or another third party.
