The Corporate Communications department at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana struck gold in the 2007 Healthcare Advertising Awards sponsored by the national publication Healthcare Marketing Report.
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana received six awards, including a Gold Award in the employee communications program category for planning and promoting the 2006 All-Employee Meeting.
The remaining awards were:
- Financial Focus interactive web page – Silver (Websites/Home Pages)
- 2006 Health Fair poster – Merit (Posters)
- Wellness Program logo – Merit (Logo or Letterhead Design)
- 2005 Annual Report – Bronze (Annual Reports)
- The 411 – Silver (In-House Publications)
The Healthcare Marketing Report covers advertising, public relations, marketing and product and service information in the health care industry. Its Healthcare Advertising Awards competition receives entries from Blues plans nationwide, other health insurers, hospitals, health care systems, institutions and medical practices.
