Smart Bodies is an interactive program that teaches grades K-5 about nutrition and physical activity. Through Smart Bodies, the BCBSLA Foundation and the LSU AgCenter are working to prevent childhood obesity.
Smart Bodies Components
Louisiana Body Walk – A walkthrough exhibit that lets children explore the functions of the human body and the effects of different foods on each organ.

Organ Wise Guys – Fun characters are featured in lessons and games to help young children understand the effects of healthy behavior on their bodies.
Take 10! Classroom Program – A teacher-created program backed by the standards of the Louisiana Department of Education LEAP test which combines physical activity with academic lessons for grades K-5.
