Full-time employees, retirees and board members of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana can increase the value of their donations to charitable and other organizations through a matching gift from the company.
Eligible Institutions and Amounts
- Program provides dollar-for-dollar matching contributions to 501(c)(3) or other eligible nonprofit organizations
- Requests must meet BCBSLA philanthropy criteria
- Minimum gift of $250, with maximum match of $1,500
Eligible Donors
- BCBSLA board members
- Full-time employees of BCBSLA
- BCBLA retirees
How to Participate
- Complete Part A of the Matching Gift form [PDF]
- Send form with a personal check to the eligible organization
- A copy of both the form and check should be sent to BCBSLA Community Relations
- Eligible institution should then complete Part B, returning the form and copy of original check
- Matching gift will be made upon completion of BCBSLA review to verify eligibility
