We began 2006 with many challenges to face -- some external, while others were brought on by the company's commitment to take a leadership role in improving the cost and quality of healthcare statewide. As the state’s oldest and largest health insurer, covering 1 out of every 4 Louisianians, the company took in hand the many disparate threads presented and strove to weave a meaningful whole.
