Flexible Spending Accounts

A Flexible Spending Plan (FSA) is sometimes referred to as a Section 125 Cafeteria Plan.

  • Employees can set aside a certain amount of each paycheck into an account before paying income tax. Participant can use the account to pay for:
    • Over-the-counter medicines
    • Out-of-pocket expenses at the doctor or pharmacy
    • Chiropractic services 
    • Eyeglasses, contacts, Lasik
    • Orthodontics and more 
              
  • Employers save on payroll taxes and can help cushion health insurance increases to lessen the impact on the employee's paycheck.

Our standard Cafeteria Plans include a Premium-Only Plan, Medical Reimbursement Account and Dependent Care Assistance Plan.
