Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana Names Wendy Bateman Vice President of Consumer Marketing

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana has named Wendy Bateman to the newly created position of vice president, consumer marketing. In addition to directing and implementing consumer marketing methods, she collaborates with management in the Sales & Marketing Division and across the company to conduct trend analysis, develop programs to build brand awareness within the individual market and improve the customer experience.

Bateman received her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Louisiana State University with an advertising major and marketing/economics minor. She worked for Dr Pepper / 7 Up, Inc., LEGO Systems, Inc., and Metromedia Restaurant Group in Dallas before joining Pepperidge Farm.
