BlueConnect is a wellness-based plan that gives you access to the world-class Ochsner Health System  at a savings over many traditional health plans. 

Here’s how it works for you:

• BlueConnect uses a “team approach” to manage your healthcare.  A primary care physician, along with Ochsner partnered physicians, will have access to the member’s medical records 24 hours a day, seven days a week to better coordinate care.  This ensures comprehensive and consistent care, with fewer duplicate tests.
• As a wellness-based plan, BlueConnect places a priority on preventive care and helps  you to be proactive about your health. 
• There is no copayment for preventive care office visits with a primary care physician.  Plus, members end up with more personalized attention and better outcomes from holistic, proactive and coordinated care. 
• You earn special premium rates by meeting certain health requirements.
