Act now to avoid losing your health coverage

It will take a year to mail all renewal letters, so watch your mail box for letters from Louisiana Medicaid and keep your contact information current. You can update your contact information with Louisiana Medicaid online.

If you do not reply to renewal letters or requests for information, you risk losing your coverage, even if you are eligible.

If you did not receive a pink letter from Medicaid or the Louisiana Department of Health by April 1, 2023, please contact Medicaid right away. It means they do not have your current contact information on file.
